  This is the website for artist, Glenda Maynard, who is based in the heart of Wells in Somerset. The subject of Glenda's artwork is often diverse, although she takes especial pleasure in painting animals - particularly Horses. While Glenda tends to favour oils and watercolours, her proficiency with many different mediums can be seen among the work that is on display in the gallery.

• Commissions

  Glenda is often working on commissioned artwork and the offer of owning a personal piece of art is also available to you. The subjects of past commissions have included pets and other beloved animals, family portraits and even landscapes of favorite childhood locations and homes, although Glenda will consider most requests optimistically. • Press

  Glenda's work and exhibitions often catch the attention of the local press. Most recently, she was commissioned to paint a portrait of the Mayor of Wells, Cllr.
